Plum Creek's Concept Plan for the land we own in the Moosehead Lake region falls under the jurisdiction of Maine's Land Use Regulation Commission (LURC), which has statutory authority over all planning and zoning decisions in rural, unorganized parts of the state.

Plum Creek has met with and heard from many stakeholders including federal and state agencies, including LURC, to receive their feedback. The Plan revisions are intended to respond to these and other comments and requests for change in order to meet as many interests as possible, including Plum Creek's.
