A Legacy For Moosehead
What's Changed?

The revised Plan includes changes in development, conservation and recreation.

This final version maintains the Plan's most defining elements— permanent conservation, protection of wildlife resources, guaranteed public access, a commitment to creating affordable housing and long-term economic opportunities— but relocates considerable development away from sensitive shoreland and into the resort area. It replaces some waterfront lots with conservation, and creates the potential for nature-based tourism on a landscape scale level.

    Rockwood and Jackman

  • Opportunities for resort-based economic development
