Executive Summary available online

Plum Creek has released a PDF format of its Executive Summary for the Moosehead Lake Concept Plan.

This document contains specific information regarding the conservation, development and recreation components of the plan as well as information regarding affordable housing, the community stewardship fund and recent revisions that were submitted in October 2007 to the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission.

LURC sets public hearing schedule

The Maine Land Use Regulation Commission has finalized the following schedule for the four public hearings regarding Plum Creek's Moosehead Lake Concept Plan:

• Saturday, Dec. 1; Greenville High School
  
• Sunday, Dec. 2; Augusta Civic Center
  
• Saturday, Dec. 15; Portland, Holiday Inn by the Bay
  
• Sunday, Dec. 16; Greenville High School
  Each of the hearings will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Detailed Resource Materials

Detailed materials that have been submitted to the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission are now available for downloading and/or viewing on this page. These reports include Dr. Charles Colgan's analysis of the economic impacts associated with Plum Creek's plan; a detailed report by Planning Decision's Inc., about the plan's proposed impacts on Piscataquis and Somerset Counties; and a market assessment of the Moosehead Lake Region.
